Artelia and Enfants du Mekong are preparing youths for a better future.

25th-28th June – Artelia Foundation and Artelia Philippines worked again with Enfants du Mekong on a three-day training session in Tuguegarao City. Enfants du Mekong is a French NGO that assists youths from low-income families in achieving a better life. Volunteer employees had the opportunity to visit the homes of some EdM scholars to get to know them more closely and understand their upbringings.

The three-day workshop provided the EdM scholars with certain life skills and additional knowledge that would be beneficial to them in the future. The EdM scholars were taught project management, basic life skills, an introduction to the work environment, etc.

Artelia volunteer employees were humbled by the experience and shared their insights throughout the three-day training.

Kyle shared that the EdM scholars were actively participating in discussions and showcasing their creativity and talents. He mentioned that the EdM scholars are well-equipped to face corporate and societal challenges and have the potential to become exceptional leaders in the future.

Being part of this CSR program was something Johnnine would be grateful for. She remarked that it was amazing to see how dedicated they are to achieving their goals and that she is looking forward to seeing them do amazing endeavors once they graduate. And for Johnnine, making a positive difference in the lives of others is the most important aspect of life.

Glen stated that being compassionate can never go wrong. And he believes that by sharing both our good and bad experiences, the EdM scholars can learn something. Being kind and having the desire to help others provide us with a sense of fulfillment that nobody can take from us.

As part of our CSR Commitments and Targets for 2021–2025, we have chosen to partner with a non-governmental organization and provide training and seminars that promote youth empowerment.

To inspire the youth, Artelia nurtures their abilities and recognizes their potential, knowing that these achievements will lay the foundation for their future success in both their personal and professional lives.
