Corporate Social Responsibility2025-01-15T01:28:14+08:00

Facing the climate crisis, environmental challenges, and human rights issues, we have made corporate social responsibility (CSR) a key pillar of our development. Our CSR policy includes ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments, structured around four pillars and 20 targets to be met by 2025.

These efforts are evaluated annually by EcoVadis, and we publish a ‘Communication on Progress’ as part of our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact. We have also joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to enhance our climate action.

THE FOUR PILLARS OF OUR CSR POLICY

1. Guarantee Responsible Governance

Artelia is committed to assessing ESG risks and opportunities to align our projects with our values and refine our purchasing policies. Fully owned by employees through shareholding and the FCPE, we value independence and personal commitment. Guided by a Code of Ethics and Integrity, a dedicated network ensures ethical standards across our operations.

2. Protect the Environment

In line with our commitment to the green transition and achieving net-zero emissions, we pledged in 2020 to reduce or offset 50% of our greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. In just three years, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 26% per employee compared to 2019. To further strengthen our climate strategy, we have raised our emission reduction targets to align with the latest IPCC recommendations for combating climate change.

3. Develop our Human Capital

Our health and safety policy is closely monitored and adapted to changing socio-economic and regulatory contexts. We strive to make Artelia a workplace that fosters both personal and professional growth, ensuring employee well-being and supporting career development. Committed to diversity and inclusion, our “Each & All” policy promotes an environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of gender, age, orientation, ethnicity, or disabilities, in a culture of respect and trust.

4. A Commitment to Civic and Humanitarian Causes

Our corporate purpose, “Designing solutions for a positive life,” reflects our commitment to civil society and ecological balance. In 2006, we created the Artelia Foundation, a philanthropic organization focused on skills-based philanthropy to support the common good.

Our CSR Activities

Artelia Group has devoted a portion of its company profits to Artelia Foundation to support humanitarian projects around the world.
