Powering progress

Artelia and Shell working together to achieve lower carbon footprint.

On July 7, 2022, Shell Philippines launched the first-ever Shell Recharge station in the Philippines, located at Shell Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna. The Shell Recharge station features a 180kW direct current fast charging equipment with dynamic capability that enables it to charge two electric vehicles (EV) simultaneously. It can fully charge an EV in under 30 minutes.

As Shell promises to progress towards carbon neutrality, the Shell Recharge Station sources energy from the solar panels installed at Shell Mamplasan complex and clean energy from Shell Energy Philippines. It enables the customer to drive carbon neutral.

As this is a new chapter in the future of energy in the country, Shell pursues progress with its plan to expand with three to eight more Shell Recharge stations by end of 2022.

Artelia has overseen the Shell Recharge Project from front end design, detailed engineering design, to construction management. Technical assurance review was also done by our Global EV Technical Assurance Group.

Artelia supports Shell in its goal to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
