Community Pantries Patricia Iglesia2022-07-14T14:11:55+08:0030. September 2021| Code of Conduct Facts and Key Figures Community Social Responsibility MVV Management A Solidarity Movement The solidarity movement, Community Pantries, has evolved in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Filipinos are helping each other by sharing food according to their abilities and receiving food according to their needs. Artelia in the Philippines has organized two food collections for a local community pantry. We have experienced that our employees are happy and willing to help and share with the people in need. At the last collection, a total of 75 kilograms of rice, 50 kilograms of vegetables and a lot of canned and dried goods were collected from our two offices. Through the local community pantry, we have helped feeding hundreds of people in the area, who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get food on the table. A small deed from an employee is a big deal for a starving family.
